My job search has been delayed due to my eyesight. I'm especting to get my new glasses in about three weeks time. I can't read unless I use a magnifying glass along with my readers. I have heard through the grapevine that UAB still has a hiring freeze. I have also heard that two more people in my old department at UAB have been laid off. It seems that the economy has not improved yet. Jobs are so scarce. One good thing is that I don't have to file taxes. This will save me some money since I have an accountant filing mine each year. When I am able to look for a job, I'll be using online job searches such as al.com,monster,usa jobs and the bham news. We'll see if I have any luck...
