Well I still haven't heard from that job. I went for my 2nd. interview last week. I've had to take my Rx glasses back,cause my eyes have changed again. So I'm waiting on my new lenses. I went to get my lab work done today, hopefully my A1C will be down. Not much more to tell.

I had my second interview with a medical facility today. I think it went pretty well. Gosh, I hope I get the job. I'm still volunteering each day to keep me busy. The only thing is that I think my eyesight has changed again. My Rx glasses are hard see through now. I quess I'll give it more time before I call my eye doctor again. Kitty Cat is doing well but is constantly craving for attention. My diabetes is going good, except for the occasional high blood sugar levels. I'm still learning. Well wish me luck on the job!!!!

Well, I still haven't heard from the place that I had interview with. I did get the paper this past weekend for job listings this week. So at this point, it's just a waiting game. I went to see my doctor this morning and I was asking questions in regards to diabetes education. I have found that things come up that I still am clueless about. Like sometimes I feel sweaty and shakey. For example, last night when I injected, the injector wouldn't pump the insulin in and my blood sugar this morning was high. I was told by a doctor that the flexpens that i use are known to jam. Also, sometimes I experience spikes in my blood sugar levels, this is due to the time of day I test my blood sugar and some juices that I drink. When something is sugar free,theres still transfat calories in it. When something is no sugar added, then theres no transfat in it. This can effect my levels. So it's always good to read the nutritional values in food and drinks.

It's me. I know it's been awhile since I blogged. I had an interview the other day. It's a good position with benefits. I have also filled out a few applications. Even with the economy as it is, there has been alot of jobs in the newspaper. I haven't had much luck from Monster.com. I'm in the position of just getting a job. I have heard again from a co-worker from UAB, that they are still on a hiring freeze and there has been recent lay offs in my old department. Hopefully something will break soon.
